Modern anti-corruption policy in the civil service was discussed in Astana
A scientific-practical conference on "Modern anti-corruption policy: experience and achievements" was organized by the Ministry of Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).
The conference was attended by the Parliament Deputies of RK and representatives of UNDP, OSCE, German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ), the Ministry of Civil Service Affairs of RK, the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana, Public Administration Academy under the President of RK, as well as leading Kazakhstan and foreign experts.
Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana Alikhan Baimenov noted that: "The anti-corruption policy is one of the tools for observance of taxpayers' interests in a fair and equitable and efficient use of funds, which state apparatus, on behalf of the people, manages and disposes. Therefore, the implementation of effective anti-corruption policy is on the agenda of all governments. " In this regard, he pointed out that the Hub is ready to continue to support the government's initiative on improving the civil service.
During the conference the experience on prevention and combating corruption of Georgia, Singapore, Germany, Russia, as well as the main priorities of the modern anti-corruption policy of Kazakhstan were presented.

Lee Kuan Yew in Singapore Mukul Asher; Deputy Director of the Civil Service Bureau Temur Chiharadze (Georgia); Former Deputy Minister of Justice of Lower Saxony Juergen Oehlerking and Former Vice President of the Federal Criminal Police Office Juergen Maurer (Germany); Director of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of Russian Academy of Sciences Ural Branch, member of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for combating corruption, Professor Victor Rudenko have taken part in discussion.
