Meeting between the Сhairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub and the Minister of Personnel Management of South Korea was held in Seoul

The Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub Alikhan Baimenov met with the Minister of Personnel Management (MPM) of the Republic of Korea Hwang-seo Chong.

The parties discussed new areas of cooperation within the implementation of the regional programs of the Hub, joint activities on capacity building of civil servants, and exchange of experience on innovative solutions in the field of civil service.

During the meeting Mr. Baimenov noted that the Republic of Korea’s experience in personnel management is of great interest to the participating countries of the Hub.

On the other hand, Mr. Hwang Seo-chong emphasized the importance of partnership and the willingness to expand it through joint activities  in the field of selection and promotion of civil servants based on meritocracy, as well as development of ethics and corporate culture of civil service.
