Astana Civil Service Hub enhances Global Dialogue at World Government Summit 2025
10-12 February 2025 Dubai, UAE
The Astana Civil Service Hub (ACSH) actively participated in the World Government Summit 2025 in Dubai, joining high-level government representatives, policymakers, and experts to discuss the future of governance under the theme "Shaping Future Governments."
As part of the Summit, ACSH contributed to two high-level Ministerial Roundtables on "Effective Governance and Crisis Resilience," held on 12 February. These discussions focused on strengthening institutional resilience, enhancing digital governance, and adapting public administration to global challenges.
During the Roundtables, ACSH Chairman Alikhan Baimenov shared insights on aligning long-term national interests with short-term policy imperatives. He emphasized the need for flexible, citizen-oriented governance that balances political priorities with sustainable development.
One of the sessions was chaired by Mr. Kanysh Tuleishin, First Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, who also outlined Kazakhstan’s strategic digitalization efforts. He highlighted innovations in public administration, the use of artificial intelligence, and the development of a tech-driven, transparent government.
On the sidelines of the Summit, ACSH held productive bilateral meetings with international organisations and regional professional associations such as OECD, ASPA, EROPA, AAPAM, CAFRAD, and CLAD, as well as with government representatives from Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Africa. These discussions focused on cooperation and knowledge exchange in governance reforms and civil service excellence.
ACSH remains committed to fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and driving innovation in governance to build more effective, transparent, and resilient public institutions worldwide.
