ACSH strengthens cooperation with the Korean National Human Resources Development Institute

Mr. Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the ACSH Steering Committee met with Mr. Chae-Hwan KIM, President of the National Human Resources Development Institute (NHI) of the Republic of Korea during his official visit to Kazakhstan.

The NHI’s delegation also included Mr. Kyuho SHIN, Deputy Chief of Mission-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Kazakhstan and representatives from Global Education and Cooperation Division of the NHI - Mr. Seong-sik JEON, Director General, Mr. Moon-kyu PARK Deputy Director, and Ms. Chai-lin KIM, Program Officer.

During the meeting the parties provided updates on their recent activities and ongoing projects. They discussed key challenges faced by the governments in their digital transformation journeys and explored potential joint initiatives. The focus of discussion was on capacity building and research in the field of public administration, HRM, and digitalisation, including implementation of generative AI in governance. 

This meeting marks a significant step in enhancing collaboration between the Astana Civil Service Hub and the National Human Resources Development Institute, aiming to promote innovative practices and knowledge sharing in public sector development.
