ACSH representative participated at the International Conference on Public Administration and Development (ICPAD) in Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

On 5-8 February Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center (BPATC) under the Ministry of Public Administration, government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh hosted the 7th International Conference on Public Administration and Development (ICPAD) in Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

During the welcoming speeches, MP Farhad Hossain, Honorable Minister of State, Ministry of Public Administration of Bangladesh, Mr. Khandker Anwarul Islam, Cabinet Secretary at Government of Bangladesh, Md. Rakib Hossain, Rector of the BPATC and Professor Alex B. Brillantes Jr, President of the Asian Association for Public Administration highlighted the importance of the partnership with ACSH.

Mr. Olzhas Bayanov, the representative of the ACSH, made a presentation, speaking about the mission and tasks, the structure of the Hub, current activities, achievements and the role of the Hub in the development of public service and public administration in the region.

Participants of the conference had opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience as well as discuss the needs of developing countries.
