ACSH and Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed Memorandum of Cooperation
On October 23, in Samarkand, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub Mr. Alikhan Baimenov and the First Deputy Director of the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Otabek Khasanov signed a Memorandum of cooperation between two organisations.
On the same day, Mr. Baimenov delivered a speech to the heads of the personnel management services of the ministries, state agencies, regional akimats of Uzbekistan, and the staff of the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In his speech, he focused on modern trends in civil service development and new challenges facing public administration systems, as well as the importance of the quality of human resources. In addition, in his speech he focused on the major requirements for today's human resource management system.
At the end, Mr. Baimenov gifted books and other knowledge products and publications of the Astana Civil Service Hub to the library of the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
